This is an example of a church web site by ERACC Internet Development.
This example site is using WordPress with several plug-ins to add functions that are not part of a default WordPress install.
Some of the menus above (just below the header image) have submenus. Hover your mouse pointer over the menus to see the submenus.
What you see here is a “Page” content type that is used here to greet visitors as your “home page”. A Page is handled differently than a Post in that it is not assigned to a category and is intended to stand alone, or be grouped with other pages in the menu.
The theme used at this point is Snow Summit and has several “widget” areas, 5 layouts to rearrange the “widget” areas and 7 color choices. The “blue” color is chosen for now. This theme is just one of thousands of “free” and commercial themes available for WordPress.
